1. Xylem — the water pipes

2. Phloem — the food pipes

  • Sieve tube elements — living lekin inki nucleus kho gayi hoti hai; sieve plates (perforated walls, jaise colander) ke zariye end-to-end joined hote hain.
  • Companion cells — nucleus + mitochondria se packed. Ye sochna aur ATP banana ka kaam karte hain baaju mein sieve tube ke liye.
  • Phloem parenchyma & fibres.
