About Noesis

Noesis — from the Greek νόησις — is the act of direct understanding: not memorising a fact, but seeing why it must be so. This site is a study library built around that act.

What this is

3,512 study notes across eight subjects, every one built to the same standard: intuition first, then precise definitions, derived formulas, worked examples, the mistakes people actually make, built-in flashcards, and a concept map. Notes cite each other — 31 bridge essays trace single ideas across fields. A bank of 1,191 timed test papers with mark schemes covers every chapter at five levels, from recognition to mastery.

What it costs

Nothing. No account, no ads, no tracking, no paywall. Content is licensed CC BY-SA 4.0 — take it, share it, build on it.

How it's built

The notes live in a plain-text vault and compile to a fully static site — every page is prerendered HTML, which is why it is fast on a phone in a lecture hall. Diagrams render at build time, formulas are typeset with KaTeX, and search runs entirely in your browser.

How to use it

Pick a subject and follow its learning path — order matters. Read a note, flip its flashcards, then sit the chapter's tests starting at L1. When a topic connects to another field, the note will tell you.
