4.4.11 · Stock-Market › When to Trade — Timing & Sessions

WHY karta hai timing matter?

Ek trade ka outcome = (tumhara edge) − (market ka noise & friction). Tumhara edge (ek achha setup) roughly constant rehta hai, lekin noise aur friction din bhar wildly change hoti hai.

Toh WHY yeh hai: even ek perfect strategy tab paise kho deti hai jab spread huge ho aur moves random hon. Bure windows ko avoid karna sabse sasta edge hai jo tum khareed sakte ho — isme kuch bhi cost nahi hota.

HOW liquidity trading day ko shape karti hai (first principles)

Price ko ek tug-of-war rope ki tarah socho. Rope pakadne wale logon ki sankhya = liquidity.

  • Bahut saare haath (high liquidity): moves smooth hote hain, spreads tiny, stops behave karte hain.
  • Kam haath (low liquidity): ek bada order rope ko wildly jhatkaa deta hai.

Liquidity constant nahi hoti. Yeh follow karti hai kaun jaag raha hai aur active hai:

Participation market open par peak karti hai (overnight orders flood in hote hain) aur close ke paas (positions square off hoti hain), aur collapse karti hai session ke middle (lunch) mein aur overnight/pre-open hours mein.

Figure — Understand times and days to avoid

Jo windows AVOID karni chahiye (aur WHY)

Ek simple decision rule (the 80/20 core)

Common mistakes (Steel-man then fix)

Recall Ek 12-saal ke bachche ko explain karo (Feynman)

Socho ek playground swing jo bahut saare bacche push kar rahe hain. Jab bahut saare bacche saath push karte hain (busy hours) toh swing smoothly chalti hai aur tum predict kar sakte ho. Lunch time par sirf ek chhota bachcha bacha hai — ab swing random directions mein jerks karti hai aur tum nahi bata sakte yeh kya karegi. Jab bell bajti hai (open) tab HAR bachcha ek saath push karta hai aur swing paagal ho jaati hai. Aur special "prize days" (expiry/news) par grown-ups apne reasons se swing ke saath mess karte hain. Samajhdaar bacche tabhi jump karte hain jab swing smooth ho aur crazy times skip karte hain. Bas yahi hai — tumhe har minute nahi khelna, sirf safe wale.

Flashcards

Open ke baad pehle 15 minutes kyun avoid karein?
Spreads sabse wide hote hain aur prices overnight orders/news par two-directionally whip karti hain; stops trend se nahi, noise se hit hote hain.
Lunch-time mein liquidity ka kya hota hai?
Yeh collapse ho jaati hai — thin order books fake breakouts aur wider spreads produce karte hain.
Ek scheduled news event MEIN trade karna buri idea kyun hai?
Direction ~50/50 hoti hai aur spreads blow out ho jaate hain, toh price tumhare stop ke through gap kar sakti hai; expected value negative ho jaati hai.
"Spread" kya hai aur timing ke liye kyun matter karta hai?
Bid–ask gap; tum isko entry aur exit par pay karte ho, aur yeh exactly bure windows mein widen hota hai.
"OLD CEE" windows ko naam batao jo avoid karni hain.
Open, Lunch, Day-close, Central-bank/news events, Expiry, Eve-of-holiday.
Close se pehle final few minutes kyun avoid karein?
Order imbalances / rebalancing sharp news-independent moves cause karte hain jo tum forced exit se pehle manage nahi kar sakte.
Expiry days intraday mein tricky kyun hote hain?
Settlement flows se strikes ke paas artificial "pinning" hoti hai phir sudden whips aate hain.
Window skip karne ki EV logic batao.
; jab friction badhti hai aur win-rate noise se girta hai, , toh skip karo.
Kya low volume "calm/safe" ke barabar hai?
Nahi — thin books fragile hote hain; ek order price ko bahut move kar deta hai, toh calm violent ho sakta hai.
Kisi bhi trader ke liye available sabse sasta edge kya hai?
Bure windows mein side mein khada rehna — isme kuch cost nahi hoti aur negative-EV trades remove ho jaati hain.
