1. SA node fire karta hai.

  • Right atrium ki wall mein, superior vena cava ke opening ke paas located hai.
  • Ye sabse fast rate (~60–100 times/min) pe spontaneously depolarise karta hai, isliye ye pace set karta hai → ise pacemaker kehte hain.
  • Fastest kyun pace set karta hai? Jo bhi region pehle threshold reach kare wo doosron ko fire kar deta hai pehle ki wo khud fire kar sakein. SA node ke leaky Na⁺ ("funny") channels ise pehle threshold reach karaate hain.

2. Impulse atria ke across spread hota hai.

  • Gap junctions (intercalated discs) ke through cell-to-cell travel karta hai → dono atria contract hote hain (atrial systole), blood ventricles mein push karte hue.

3. Impulse AV node tak pahunchta hai.

  • Right atrium ke base mein, interatrial septum mein, AV valves ke paas located hai.
  • Yahan signal ko ~0.1 second ki delay hoti hai.
  • Delay kyun? AV nodal cells slowly conduct karti hain. Ye atria ko time deta hai ki wo ventricles mein emptying finish kar sakein pehle ki ventricles contract karein. Delay ke bina, chambers ek saath squeeze karte aur pumping fail ho jaati.

4. Bundle of His → bundle branches.

  • AV node atria aur ventricles ke beech single electrical bridge hai (baaki sab non-conducting fibrous tissue se insulated hai). Signal Bundle of His se neeche interventricular septum ke through jaata hai, left aur right bundle branches mein split hote hue.

5. Purkinje fibres.

  • Ye rapidly ventricle walls ke through spread hote hain, apex se upar ki taraf.
  • Apex pehle kyun? Taaki contraction blood ko arteries (aorta aur pulmonary artery) ki taraf upar squeeze kare — jaise toothpaste tube ko neeche se squeeze karna. Ye ventricular systole hai.
