KIYA hai large intestine?


KAISE reabsorb hota hai water? (Scratch se derive karo)

Water ko directly "pump" nahi kiya ja sakta — cells mein koi water pumps nahi hote. Toh water wall ke across kaise jaata hai? Chalte hain mechanism step by step banate hain.

Step 1 — Sodium actively pump out hota hai. Har epithelial cell ke door (blood) wali side par Na⁺/K⁺ ATPase pump hota hai, jo ATP use karke cell ke bahar (blood ki taraf) push karta hai har andar ke liye.

Yeh step kyun? Isse cell ka internal Na⁺ low rehta hai, ek gradient create hota hai.

Step 2 — Sodium lumen se andar leak karta hai. Kyunki ab cell ke andar Na⁺ low hai, gut lumen se Na⁺ cell mein flow karta hai apne gradient ke saath (channels/co-transporters ke zariye).

Yeh step kyun? Na⁺ effectively lumen → cell → blood move karta hai, matlab gut se salt ka net transfer bahar hota hai.

Step 3 — Osmotic gradient banta hai. Ab blood/tissue side Na⁺ se bharpoor hai (high solute). Lumen side comparatively dilute hai.

Step 4 — Water osmosis se follow karta hai. Water lumen → tissue → blood move karta hai, purely osmotic gradient se driven. (water high water-potential se low water-potential ki taraf jaata hai).

Feces formation: Water reclaim hone ke baad, jo bacha rehta hai woh hai undigested fibre + dead cells + bacteria + bile pigments (jo isse brown colour dete hain). Muscular peristalsis ise rectum tak push karta hai; stretch defecation reflex trigger karta hai.
