Intuition Bada picture (WHY ye teen exist karte hain)
Ek protein banane ke liye, cell ko teen kaam karne padte hain: blueprint carry karo , letters padho & match karo , aur assembly machine chalao . Evolution ne har kaam ek alag RNA ko diya.
mRNA = message (ek gene ki instructions ki photocopy).
tRNA = translator/adaptor (har codon ke liye sahi amino acid laata hai).
rRNA = machine + worker (ribosome banata hai aur peptide bonds catalyse karta hai).
Agar tumhe "Message, Translator, Machine" yaad hai toh tum is subtopic ka 80% already jaante ho.
Definition mRNA (messenger RNA)
Ek gene ki coding information ki single-stranded copy, jo transcription ke dauran banti hai. Yeh codons (bases ke triplets) ki sequence carry karti hai jo protein ki amino acid order specify karti hai. Yeh linear, unfolded aur relatively short-lived hoti hai.
Definition tRNA (transfer RNA)
Ek chota (~76 nucleotide) RNA jo cloverleaf / L-shape mein fold hota hai. Iska ek anticodon hota hai jo mRNA codon ke saath base-pair karta hai, aur ek amino acid attachment site (3′ CCA end) hoti hai. Yeh adaptor hai jo nucleotide code ko amino acids se jodata hai.
Definition rRNA (ribosomal RNA)
Cell mein sabse zyada abundant RNA. Proteins ke saath milke ribosome (large + small subunits) banata hai. Ek rRNA ribozyme (RNA enzyme) ki tarah kaam karta hai jo peptidyl transferase centre mein peptide bond formation catalyse karta hai.
Intuition WHY yeh order sense banata hai
Information DNA → mRNA → protein flow karni chahiye (the central dogma). Tum DNA ko directly ribosome par read nahi kar sakte, isliye:

Worked example Example 1 — Molecule ko clue se match karo
"Mere paas ek anticodon aur ek 3′ amino-acid site hai." → tRNA .
Yeh step kyun? Sirf tRNA ko hi codon recognize karna hota hai (anticodon) AUR amino acid hold karna hota hai (CCA end). mRNA mein codons hain lekin amino acid nahi; rRNA mein dono nahi.
Worked example Example 2 — mRNA codon se anticodon tak
mRNA codon = 5 ′ -AUG- 3 ′ . tRNA anticodon kya hoga?
Step 1: Antiparallel & complementary pair karo: A–U, U–A, G–C.
Step 2: Har ek ke neeche pairing base likho: AUG → UAC.
Step 3: Anticodon 3 ′ → 5 ′ padha jaata hai align karne ke liye = 3 ′ -UAC- 5 ′ .
Yeh step kyun? Strands antiparallel pair karte hain, isliye anticodon codon ke opposite direction mein chalta hai — yeh bhool jaao toh galat tRNA milega.
Worked example Example 3 — 150 amino acids wale protein ke liye kitne codons?
Coding codons = 150, plus 1 stop codon = 151 codons → 151 × 3 = 453 coding bases (UTRs/start overlap ignore karke).

Common mistake "tRNA genetic message carry karta hai."
